TDC, Southwest Sign Contract
Southwest Airlines and TDC officials met in Dallas on Wednesday to ink an agreement that will put local bed-tax muscle behind the low-cost carrier’s efforts to market the allure of Bay County and its beaches.

Demolition of Abandoned Buildings Continues on in PCB
During the November 12 council meeting, the City of Panama City Beach issued a contract to raze the property located at 13623 and 13626 Front Beach Road. The $214,505 contract will result in the Fiesta Motel buildings being removed and the property cleaned up.

Reuse to Wetland Project to Begin
During the November 12 meeting, Panama City Beach City Council awarded a contract for over 14 million dollars to Phoenix Construction for the completion of a wet weather discharge area for reuse water. The eighteen month project will result in the City of Panama City Beach stopping the discharge of any reuse water into the St. Andrew Bay and being the first city in Bay County to do so.
