PANAMA CITY BEACH CHAMBER OF COMMERCE ALL-NEW LOCATION

The Chamber’s Tourist Information Center combines a variety of communications and information mediums in a cutting edge, first-of-its-kind environment. The colors, style, décor and technology of the space give it a uniqueness in the community. This is an attraction you won’t want to miss! Interactive touch-screen kiosks promote shopping, accommodations, eateries and fun activities. A virtual floor interactively intermingles Flash-animated nature effects. The colorful history wall features artwork and facts on Hernando DeSoto’s trek into Northwest Florida in 1539, nearly 500 years ago. The large flat screen features “The Best of PCB,” a Travel Channel-style hosted program showcasing resorts, restaurants, attractions, community events, and relocation information.

On June 18, 2008 Sharon Ernst from Louisville, KY wrote:

“As a fellow chamber employee, but in Louisville, KY, and a part time property owner in Panama City Beach, I was able to stop by your new facility last week while on vacation! W O W! The entire area is starting to look so wonderful, it makes me so happy we decided to purchase our dream vacation spot years ago, and have been able to witness the progress in changing the face of PCB! Now, I just cannot wait for the airport to be completed so all the people from Kentucky can visit more often, and spend more week-ends there as well. How exciting it must be for all of you. Thanks for being there!”
