Requirements:
- The desire to make a difference in the life of a student
- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited college/university
- Valid Florida Professional Teaching Certifcate in content area assigned OR proof of active enrollment in a state-approved EPI or MAT program
- Valid Florida state-issued Statement of Eligibility OR valid Temporary Certificate in content area assigned
- All certified staff must have Highly Qualified status
- Certified staf may be required to obtain certification in multiple subject areas
- Must live within 50 miles of DJJ facility and deliver on-site instruction on Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
