Panama City, FL – The Bay County Board of County Commissioners, with assistance from the Bay County Veterans Council, will host Bay County’s annual Veterans Day Parade at 8 a.m. Monday, Nov. 11 in Panama City. The parade route begins at Frankford Avenue and 12th Street in St. Andrews and travels east along 11th Street to the Bay County Government Center, located at 840 W. 11th St., Panama City.
A wreath-laying ceremony will follow the parade at 10 a.m. outside the Government Center’s main entrance. A local high band and choir will provide entertainment, and a guest speaker from Naval Support Activity-Panama City will speak with a member from Tyndall Air Force Base on hand to lay the wreath. Panama City Pipes and Drums will perform and the event will culminate with a flyover from Tyndall.
