Panama City Beach, FL – Pineapple Willy’s is proud to announce the return of Pay it Forward: Pine’s Profits for a Purpose, a week-long charitable event that continues the legacy of its beloved founder, William “Pine” Buskell. From September 8-14, 2025, Pineapple Willy’s will donate 100% of its profits to local nonprofit organizations that serve the Bay County community.
This annual initiative, originally inspired by Pine’s deep commitment to giving back, has become a meaningful tradition for both the restaurant and the region. Each year, locals and visitors alike dine with purpose, knowing that every meal helps make a real difference.
“This event is a reflection of who Pine was,” says Jared Knetzer, Marketing Director at Pineapple Willy’s. “He believed in taking care of our neighbors, and this is our way of keeping that spirit alive, one plate at a time.”
