Scholarships Available for Girls Inc. of Bay County After-School Programs

PANAMA CITY, Fla. — Thanks to the generous support of The St. Joe Community Foundation, Girls Inc. of Bay County can now provide 100% tuition-covered spots for a limited number of girls to attend its after-school programs.

Girls ages 6–18 from households earning less than $26,000 annually are eligible to join programs at either of Girls Inc.’s two center locations: the St. Andrew at Oakland Terrace Center in Panama City and the Beach Center in Panama City Beach.

Even if full tuition isn’t needed, partial scholarships are also available based on household income, ensuring that more girls across Bay County can benefit from fun and enriching programs that include STEM learning, leadership development, and creative experiences.

“We are deeply grateful to The St. Joe Community Foundation for their continued partnership,” said Catherine Glover, executive director of Girls Inc. of Bay County. “This support makes it possible for more girls in our community to have access to programs that help them grow strong, smart, and bold.”

“Supporting programs that nurture curiosity, leadership, and resilience in young people is one of the most meaningful ways we can build a stronger future for our region,” said April Wilkes, Executive Director of the St. Joe Community Foundation.

Spots are limited, and transportation is provided from 12 local schools. Families are encouraged to register as soon as possible to secure their child’s space.
