PANAMA CITY BEACH, FL (April 7, 2026) – Treasure Island Marina proudly celebrates its 50th Anniversary in 2026—marking 50 years of continuous family ownership, dedication to the boating community, and a passion for the coastal lifestyle.
The marina was purchased by Bill Nomberg in March of 1976. Since that time, it has remained family-run, now owned and operated by his daughters, Lisa Todd and Anna Schmidtke, who continue to carry forward the values and vision established 50 years ago. As part of that legacy, Jimmy Todd has served as President and Chief Executive Officer for the past 30 years, playing a key role in Treasure Island Marina’s long-standing success and growth.
Following extensive renovations after Hurricane Michael and the 2024 tornado, the marina complex has been thoughtfully restored and enhanced. Today, Treasure Island Marina offers a full-service boating experience, including more than 50 commercial wet slips, 39 private wet slips, and 37 transient (first-come, first-served) wet slips, along with a fuel dock, fish cleaning station, Ship’s Store, and over 400 dry storage bays across two barns.
Treasure Island Marina also works alongside MarineMax on property, providing access to premium brands such as Grady-White, Boston Whaler, and Sea Ray, supported by a top-tier parts and service department.
“Reaching 50 years is an incredible milestone for our family and our team,” said Will Fleming, COO of Treasure Island Marina. “We’re proud to continue building on our legacy while evolving to meet the needs of today’s boating community.”
Treasure Island Marina remains a cornerstone of Panama City Beach’s waterfront, offering convenience, service, and a welcoming environment for boaters of all kinds.
Treasure Island Marina is truly a one-stop shop for living the boating lifestyle.
